21. October 2010-Georgetown, MA, United States
Georgetown, MA:Voters in 73 cities will decide on november 2, on non-binding public policy issues relating to the taxation of adult use of marijuana and the legalization of physician-supervised use of medical cannabis.
Approximately 13 percent of the State's registered voters will weigh issues.
The results of these votes will probably affect the language a proposed ballot measure was binding in 2012, said Steven Epstein, spokesman for Massachusetts Cannabis Reform Coalition (MassCann), NORML's Massachusetts affiliate.
MassCann and Drug Policy Forum of Massachusetts sponsoring ballot measures.
Since 2000, voters in one-third of the Commonwealth voted overwhelmingly in favour of the marijuana reform of more than 40 separate public policy issues.
